Micro-Mist™ Generators: “ROC” and “MAX”
Zimek’s revolutionary Micro-Mist™ Generators (models Z4060 ROC and Z4090 MAX) are designed to automatically decontaminate rooms, vehicles, and other enclosed environments by utilizing a disinfecting micro-particle application called Micro-Mist™. The sub-micron size of the Micro-Mist™ droplets, created and dispersed through Zimek’s patent pending Micro-Mist™ process, enables them to impregnate microscopic surface craters in porous and non-porous surfaces, which are invisible to the naked eye. Micro-Mist™ has the power to access hotbeds of microbes that would, ordinarily, be unreachable due to the limiting effects of surface tension. Moreover, Zimek’s Micro-Mist™ disinfecting micro-droplets can fill any enclosed air-volume and reach virtually every surface exposed to free-airflow, thereby decontaminating hard-to-reach areas that even the most dutiful cleaning and maintenance custodians can miss.
Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator
The Z-vac® Micro-Particle Evacuator is a mobile “clean-room” filter and air purifier, and permits the rapid reoccupation of rooms following the completion of a Micro-Mist™ decontamination cycle. The Z-vac® can also be used following the decontamination of vehicles (and is strongly recommended following vehicle treatments conducted within an enclosed garage). The Z-vac’s high-tech air filtration system employs high volume air movement through two proprietary multi-staged filters, in order to remove airborne environmental contaminants (e.g., pollen, dust, pet dander, and volatile organic compounds). The Z-vac® has the capacity to remove particulate matter as small as 0.1 micron and aids in rapid adhesion of Micro-Mist™ droplets to all surfaces contained within a treated space and exposed to free-airflow.
Zimek’s Disinfectants
In most decontamination applications, Zimek recommends the use of its line EPA registered disinfectants, which are specially-formulated to kill a wide range of environmental contaminants and are non-corrosive to both porous and non-porous surfaces:

Zimek's Vehicle Decontamination Overlay (“VDO”)
Zimek’s Micro-Mist™ Generators can be used in conjunction with Zimek’s Vehicle Decontamination Overlay (VDO) to treat the interior of any vehicle, including those used in EMS, law enforcement, and public transportation applications. The VDO can be quickly attached to most vehicles and directs Micro- Mist™ into a vehicle’s interior. The VDO consists of the following: a flexible, durable, and light-weight vinyl-impregnated material; a compressible, serpentine, six-inch diameter hose that can be extended to reach tall vehicles; and a magnetic seal that helps assure the VDO stays in place during treatment operation.
