When Zimek's Micro-Mist^® Generator (ROC or MAX) is connected to and used in conjunction with Zimek's Z-vac^® Micro-Droplet Evacuator, the two components constitute Zimek's Touch-Free™ Rapid Decontamination System.  

Zimek's Rapid Decontamination Systems achieve "Touch-Free™” decontamination because the Micro-Mist^® applications they disperse are A-U-T-O-M-A-T-I-C. No operator is required during the automatic dispersion of the Micro-Mist^®, or during the subsequent automatic removal of the Micro-Mist^® by Zimek's Z-vac^® Micro-Droplet Evacuator.

Zimek^® has developed two distinct Touch-Free™ Rapid Decontamination Systems utilizing Zimek's patented Touch-Less™ Micro-Mist^® technology:

	The ROC Micro-Mist® Generator was engineered to automatically disperse a vaporous flurry of micro-droplets of Zimek preferred disinfectants and sanitizers called Micro-Mist® on hard non-porous surfaces as an adjunct to regular manual cleaning and disinfecting. The Z-vac® Micro-Droplet Evacuator is a high-volume air filtration system which is designed to work in conjunction with the MAX Micro-Mist® Generator to permit the rapid reoccupation of a room or a vehicle. 	The MAX Micro-Mist® Generator is specifically designed for use in healthcare facilities and EMS applications and includes all of the user-friendly features of the ROC Micro-Mist® Generator with the addition of Zimek's Steri-Mist® Applicator, a micro-droplet dispersal gun which enables the operator to manually apply Zimek preferred disinfectants or sanitizers onto hard non-porous surfaces as an adjunct to regular manual cleaning and disinfecting. The Z-vac® Micro-Droplet Evacuator is a high-volume air filtration system which is designed to work in conjunction with the MAX Micro-Mist® Generator to permit the rapid reoccupation of a room or a vehicle.

Zimek‘s vehicle decontamination applicators can be used in conjunction with the ROC or MAX Micro-Mist^® Generator to decontaminate the interior of any vehicle. These vehicle decontamination applicators can also be used in conjunction with the Z-vac^® Vehicle Adapter to remove any remaining airborne Micro-Mist^® droplets from the vehicle decontaminated with Micro-Mist^®.

Zimek Systems are compliant with product safety standards in the United States, Canada, and Europe:
	On May 6, 2010, Zimek received UL certification for its Touch-Free™ Rapid Decontamination Systems conforming to: Standard for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use (including hospitals and healthcare facilities); Part 1: General Requirements (ANSI/UL 61010-1-2004, 2nd Ed., Rev. 10/28/08 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61010-1, 2nd Ed. 2004). Certifying agency and third party testing for ETL compliance was performed by Intertek Testing Services in Cortland, New York.
	On March 28, 2008, Zimek Systems were CE certified in accordance with: Machinery Directive 97/37/EC (amended); Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC; and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2004/108/EC. Zimek Systems are in conformity with Standards EN 12100-1, EN 12100-2, EN 60204-1, EN 61000-6-2, and EN 61000-6-3. CE testing and certification was performed by Antietam Compliance Company (ACC) in Myersville, MD.
